About the Role

We are looking for hands-on Mechanical Fitters or Technicians join a busy heavy engineering depot.
You’ll be working as part of a skilled team carrying out full mechanical strip downs, rebuilds, and overhauls on large equipment ensuring it’s safe, reliable, and ready for operation.

Hands-on work with multiple vehicle types, each requiring tailored engineering solutions.

What You will be responsible for

Carry out mechanical overhauls, inspections, and rebuilds.

Work with air tools & calibrated tools

Support safety checks and fault rectification in the workshop.

Maintain depot safety and cleanliness standards.

What We are Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you have experience as a:

HGV, plant, or vehicle mechanic / technicial Mechanical or engineering fitter Bodyshop or heavy equipment engineer

You can be time-served or hold a Level 3 mechanical qualification — what matters most is your skill and work ethic.

Shifts & Overtime

Early Shift: Mon–Thurs 06:00–14:30, Fri 06:00–13:30

Late Shift: Mon–Thurs 14:00–22:30, Fri 10:30–18:00

The opportunity to pick up Overtime in the week & also weekends.
