Mechanical Team Coordinator

Location: Manchester

Shifts: Rotating Early & Late (Mon–Fri)
Start: ASAP

We are looking for a Mechanical Team Coordinator to lead and collaborate with a small team within a heavy engineering depot.
This is a working lead position – around 90% on the tools and 10% coordinating work, completing basic reports, and supporting the Team Manager.

You will still get your hands dirty every day, but you will also be responsible for helping your team hit safety, quality, and production targets.

What’s in it for you?

What We are Looking For

Background in mechanical fitting, vehicle repair, HGV, or plant maintenance

Some experience leading or mentoring others on the shop floor.

Organised, dependable, and hands-on – you will be setting the pace for your team.

Time-served or Level 3 qualified in mechanical engineering

Shifts & Overtime

Early Shift: Mon–Thurs 06:00–14:30, Fri 06:00–13:30

Late Shift: Mon–Thurs 14:00–22:30, Fri 10:30–18:00
