The Role and Responsibilities
As Site Engineer you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of the project. You be responsible for reading drawings, setting out and managing sub-contractors. Building and maintaining client relationships, working with the section engineers and agents and managing the weekly programme.
The Company
Our client, a large Tier 1 contractor, have secured work as part of a major JV on a multi-billion-pound infrastructure project in the North Yorkshire area. This project will provide working for the next 5 years and the opportunity to be apart of the delivery of key project for the business.
The Requirements
The ideal Site Engineer for this position will have experience working across heavy civil engineering and infrastructure. Any experience across projects within the nuclear and power sector will be advantageous. You will have experience setting out, managing sub-contractors, doing risk assessments and method statements. It is essential you are delivery focused and able to be based on site 5 days a week.
We do require someone that has worked for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and you must have a valid CSCS and First Aid as a minimum.
