Section Foreman / Site Supervisor – Wastewater Treatment Project
Gatwick, Surrey
£320–£350 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
Contract – Approx. 4 months (potential for extension)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Section Foreman / Site Supervisor to support the final stages of a Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) project in Surrey.
This is a hands-on supervisory position, overseeing subcontractor works, commissioning, M&E activities, and the completion of minor civils close-out and site demobilisation. The role will initially focus on the a single site (approx. 4 months) but forms part of a 5-year AMP programme, offering strong continuity on upcoming wastewater schemes across the region.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise subcontractor activities to ensure works are completed to spec and programme.

Oversee minor civils works – concrete repairs, landscaping, reseeding, and snagging.

Manage site demobilisation, including safe removal of cabins under HV pylons.

Lead daily briefings and toolbox talks with site teams and subcontractors.

Review and approve RAMS for specialist subcontractors (including M&E).

Ensure all work complies with H&S regulations, project specs, and environmental standards.

Liaise effectively with the project team, subcontractors, and client representatives to maintain safe and efficient delivery.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Foreman or Site Supervisor within wastewater, heavy civils, or similar infrastructure projects.

Experience with site demobilisation and reinstatement activities.

Valid CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS, and First Aid certifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
