Job Title: Rolling Stock Cyber Security Engineer

This World-famous organisation are looking to grow their systems engineering department with the addition of a Rolling Stock Cyber Security Engineer to protect existing fleets and a number of high-profile new fleets being introduced over the next 10 years.

The Candidate:

You will currently be working as a cyber security engineer on fleets of vehicles. We want to hear from people who implement and integrate cyber security enhancements on embedded systems in the transportation sector. You may currently work in Avionics or Automotive. Marine or Aerospace. It doesn’t matter. If it moves, and you are responsible for the cyber security components within it then get in touch as this could be the next step in your career.

The Role:

In your new role as a Rolling Stock Cyber Security Engineer you will be responsible for conducting cyber security risk assessments on a range of local and high-speed trains across the United Kingdom. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to support customer facing design reviews ensuring that each and every fleet is fully protected from a variety of cyber threats. You will of course have a plethora of support from different departments within the business but ultimately you will be held accountable for the high level of protection that is required to keep the business and its passengers safe from cyber-attack.

The Requirements:

We would expect you to have at least 2 years cyber security experience in the rolling stock, aerospace, automotive or marine sectors. You will be familiar with Information Security Standards and Industrial Automation & Control Systems Security and have a good understanding of cyber assessment frameworks in the transportation sector. Aside from physical experience you will also have a desire to be the best and will be passionate about delivering a high level of service to your new, high-profile clients.

Salary: Up to £75,000 p.a.
