Quantity Surveyor
Tier 1 Rail Contractor | Light Rail & Urban Infrastructure
Birmingham (MMA Depot & Projects)
40 hours | Monday – Friday
Office / site based – 5 days per week
The Opportunity
This is a chance to join a Tier 1 rail contractor delivering high-profile urban light rail projects across Birmingham, working within the Midland Metro Alliance (MMA).

Projects include major city-centre infrastructure tied into wider regeneration and transport schemes — this is proper QS work, not admin-heavy support.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the full commercial management of your allocated projects, including:

Managing projects from inception through to final account
-
Supporting and working closely with the SQS / Senior Commercial Manager
-
Cost control, forecasting and monthly CVRs
-
Managing change, variations and contractual entitlements

-
Procurement support and supply chain management
-
Assessment and agreement of applications for payment
-
