Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Outside IR35 - Water - NEC - London (mostly remote)
Got a short term freelance opportunity (3 to 4 months) for a QS to support a Tier 1 on a water framework.
It’s a hands on role covering the usual tasks such as payments, final accounts, general contract administration and subcontract management to free up the senior team.
Main selling points
• Outside IR35 with a Tier 1 (not many let you)
• Mostly remote, with the odd visit into site or office around London
Experience required
• Experienced QS working in a civil engineering environment
• NEC contract experience
• Tier 1 background ideal
• Water sector experience ideal

Start likely mid to late November depending on project approval.
Rate around £350 to £400 a day depending on experience.
Although it’s short term, this contractor rarely lets good people go and there are other frameworks in the region that could open up afterwards.
