This Project Manager role is ideal for somebody who enjoys leading multiple projects in parallel, as you’ll have full responsibility for delivering several small projects simultaneously from cradle to grave. This will include leading in-house and sub-contract labour in the delivery of sustainable technology solutions across the Midlands.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the Construction Director, you will oversee a portfolio of electric vehicle charging point projects across sites in the Midlands, each valued up to £500,000. This will see you playing a key part in liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, installation teams, sales teams, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure the business delivery is of the best quality.
What is expected of me as Project Manager?
- Deliver projects simultaneously within agreed parameters to the highest standard.
- Oversee Portfolio and Supply chain management.
- Maintain project processes, documents, registers, logs etc.
- Oversee risk analysis and response planning.
- Drafting, reviewing, and reviewing site plans and designs.
- Stakeholder analysis and management.
- Perform Change control.
Remuneration
This company are offering a salary up to £50,000, company car, 23 days (rising to 25) holidays + bank holidays, pension, and a flexible working culture. Within a high growth business (who are already award winning and securing a very healthy order book) there will be opportunity for the Project Manager to progress into a Project Director role in the future.
About You
Due to the nature of the work, it is essential that you have experience concurrently managing small to medium sized projects incorporating street works / highways electrical infrastructure, such as motorway sign installations, traffic lights, pay meters, charging points, utilities etc. You will come from a contractor background and be able to display successful experience liaising with DNO’s.
You will have a proven track record managing multi-disciplined teams and have flexibility to travel to sites across the Midlands.
- PRINCE2 or APM qualifications ideal
- CSCS, SMSTS
