We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Night Shift Train Cleaner at Bognor Regis Train Depot. In this hands-on role, you will play a vital part in ensuring trains are spotless, safe, and ready for passengers each morning. Working nights from 21:00pm to 04:00am on a rotating schedule, including weeknights and weekends, your duties will include hoovering, mopping, sanitizing, and deep cleaning train interiors. Every shift delivers visible results, and your work will make a real difference to passenger comfort and safety.
In return, you will earn a competitive starting rate of £15.19 per hour for standard hours, with enhanced pay for overtime, rest days, and Sunday shifts. You will be eligible for a pay increase after 12 weeks under Agency Worker Rights. Full PPE and comprehensive on-the-job training are provided to ensure you succeed. This role offers a great entry point into the railway sector, with opportunities to learn new skills and progress into specialist train presentation or other roles within the industry.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to high standards, with the physical capability to carry out active, hands-on duties. Experience in transportation, industrial cleaning, or housekeeping is advantageous but not essential; attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and pride in your work are what matter most.
You will be joining one of the UK’s major rail networks, operating a large fleet of trains across multiple routes and connecting city centres, towns, and rural communities. This organisation has a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and innovation, investing in modern trains and ongoing staff development. Every team member plays a visible role in providing a positive passenger experience, and your contribution will be appreciated every day.
Apply today by sending your CV to karla.delczeg@ganymedesolutions.co.uk. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short, pre-recorded video, followed by proof of right-to-work verification and a pre-employment drug & alcohol test.
