We are recruiting for an Head of Materials & Inventory Control on behalf of a global engineering and industrial services leader. In this pivotal role, you will take full strategic and operational ownership of the materials function, overseeing planning, control, and supply performance across multiple engineering hubs.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead inventory control, planning, and audit accuracy using advanced asset management systems
- Build a resilient and responsive supply chain across multiple engineering hubs
- Champion continuous improvement and embed lean principles
- Introduce visual management practices across sites
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure efficient materials flow
- Foster a proactive safety culture that meets and exceeds operational standards

What You Will Bring
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in materials or supply chain leadership roles, ideally within a manufacturing or services industry dealing with production requirement planning
- Strong understanding of inventory systems, procurement processes, and forecasting tools
- Background in logistics, aerospace, maritime, or heavy automotive industries
- Ability to implement complex SKU management and standardised best practices
- Strategic mindset with operational discipline and problem-solving skills
Additional Information
This position is subject to standard pre-employment checks, including references, medical assessment, and drug & alcohol screening. Some travel between sites will be required, typically two to three times per month.
