My background in recruitment

I have over 10 years recruitment experience across Europe, Asia & the Middle East. My experience spans across a full remit of workforce solutions including project recruitment, talent development and succession planning through to board level appointments and headhunting. I have been involved in recruitment nationally and internationally for a variety of blue-chip clients, predominantly across the engineering and transportation sectors.

I am a strong promoter of diversity within the workplace and have enjoyed supporting a number of initiatives in particular to promote gender parity. This has included supporting targeted recruitment drives, industry placement schemes and a wide variety of attraction and development events. Within the Rail sector I actively support Women in Rail and in particular the Never Mind the Gap Scheme, which introduces women to careers within the rail sector.

The best part of my job

I enjoy learning about our client’s businesses and working with them to solve problems. I am passionate about the rail sector, I believe the variety of opportunities it offers for different people with very different skills is truly unique. The diversity and passion of the people working in the sector is what I enjoy the most and what has kept me working the sector.

What I do when I'm not in the office

I am into fitness and enjoy hiking, yoga and dance.
