The Role/About You
We’re seeking a strategic and technically accomplished Framework Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities across major water infrastructure projects within the Wessex Water region. This is a hybrid leadership role (3 days/week site/office), ideal for someone ready to take ownership of regional commissioning and drive best practice across a newly awarded AMP8 framework.
You’ll be the first appointment in the region, responsible for building capability, standardising commissioning processes, and representing the business at a senior level. This role offers a clear pathway into senior management and is perfect for someone with strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience.
You’ll need a background in MEICA commissioning—ideally with an electrical, process, or control systems bias—and the ability to influence stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and deliver strategic presentations. Experience within Tier 1 contractor frameworks and wastewater treatment is highly desirable.
