£35,000 - £40,000 + Temp-to-Perm + CIPS Training + Career Progression
Are you an Assistant Buyer ready to step up, or a Buyer looking for meaningful progression in a project-based environment?
We’re hiring for a Buyer to join a high-performing procurement team working on major infrastructure projects. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering fast onboarding, hybrid working, and clear development into a Senior Buyer role in the future.
What’s in it for you:
- Temp-to-perm pathway (initial 6 months PAYE, then permanent – quicker onboarding, with competitive pay including holiday uplift)
- £35,000 - £40,000 salary equivalent
- Hybrid working: typically 4 days onsite near Bristol Parkway Station, with occasional travel to London (Stratford / Victoria)
- Full support for CIPS training (once permanent)
- Genuine career path – previous Assistant Buyer promoted to Senior within 5 years
Ideal backgrounds:
- Experience in rail, infrastructure, or civils
- Skilled in subcontractor management and onboarding
- Strong in RfQs, ITTs, tendering, supplier review and selection
