As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the development and planning of essential works alongside our talented project team. From documentation to permits, you'll ensure everything is in place for the smooth delivery of projects, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Producing and maintaining project planning documentation
  • Monitoring project performance and reporting progress
  • Creating Stakeholder Management Plans and achieving consents
  • Coordinating required access for works
  • Driving efficiency and influencing commercial performance
  • Identifying project risks and opportunities
  • Procuring and managing supply chain partners
  • Compiling hand back files to client expectations
  • Championing lessons learned and preventing future issues

With safety being a top priority, and as part of the team, you'll also be responsible for developing comprehensive site induction briefings and ensuring all safety protocols are followed diligently.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • HNC level qualification or relevant experience
  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office
  • SMSTS and PTS certifications
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good knowledge of rail and civils industry standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
