The Company
This leading organisation in providing safe and reliable passenger services across the London and South East, is looking for a highly experienced Rolling Stock technician, with exceptional Fault diagnostics. This is to provide on-going performance analysis, developing technical strategies, review the in service performance of the fleet using Condition Monitoring Systems, and provide technical solutions to prevent repeat failures occurring and identifying emerging trends.
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be from a Rolling Stock Technical background, with exceptional Fault-Finding capabilities and be able to communicate your findings and resolutions to the maintenance technicians. You will also be experienced in downloading and processing train diagnostic data, and undertake fault finding to an advanced level. You will be efficient in producing complex, analytical technical reports on fault investigation.
About the role
Working on a day shift Monday to Friday, you will act as front-line support responding to and diagnosing faults providing support to the maintenance teams concerning faults. Working with New Trains and the latest technologies. The role is to provide the technical expertise to the senior management. This is an opportunity to really push your career forward!
The Requirements
Relevant engineering qualification or experience in a mechanical/electrical engineering environment
In depth knowledge of rolling stock systems / procedures including schematics, fault finding techniques and download analysis
