The Company
Established as a leader within the Rolling Stock environment, you will be joining an organisation that prides themselves on investing in innovative and sustainable rolling stock to modernise and improve UK rail, meeting the evolving needs of today’s passengers. Having the ability to build strong working relationships with customers, you’ll work as part of a team to lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability of the trains
The Opportunity:
This role can be based in either the London or Derby area, as well as working from home once you are comfortable of the duties within the role. You will be working closely with customers providing solutions for issues that arise in the implementation on new systems onto existing fleets, systems such as CCTV, PIS, ETCS, ERTMS, C-DAS, DAS etc. This may also mean meeting customers a sites across the UK and liaising with suppliers.
Package:
The company are offering a generous package of up to c£60,000 per annum, 10% benefit allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and 15% pension.
About you:
This is an opportunity for an experienced Rolling Stock professional with knowledge of CCTV, Passenger Information Systems and other Digital systems being implemented onto existing rolling stock. This experience can be from a maintenance role or design role, but you will have a great understanding of how these systems interact with existing systems on existing fleets, and how to resolve the issues that arise. You will be ale to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- HNC/HND within an engineering discipline
- Experience in a Traction & Rolling Stock engineering environment.
