Are you a Site Manager firmly in need of a new and exciting challenge which will provide you with an abundance of work across the rail industry? The Opportunity

You will be working across several sites based around the Yorkshire region and will take charge of the day-to-day Site management, set up, upkeep and any temporary works that are involved. The projects will mainly consist of smaller scale works on a high turnover basis – works will consist of rail civil engineering works such as culverts, bridges etc.

The team and workload within this company are growing rapidly, so this is a fantastic opportunity for somebody keen to progress into Project Management down the line.

What is expected from me as Site Manager?

  • You will manage all site processes such as maintaining accurate records and submitting weekly reports.
  • You will play a key part in liaising with the public, local council officials, and key rail clients.
  • You will carry out site induction for all site personnel and visitors.
  • You will carry out routine checks and record information in accordance with company procedures.
  • Carry out daily whiteboard meetings

Package:

The company are offering a package of £40,000 - £45,000 basic per annum, company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday, travel and lodging fully expensed, generous overtime rates, Westfield Healthcare plan and 5% matched pension.

With the position offering such a breadth of long-term work, somebody keen to progress within the company would be an ideal fit and you would be provided with a clear succession plan to your desired goals.

About you

It is essential that you’re somebody who is flexible to travel to a variety of sites around the Yorkshire region.

You must be flexible to work 1 in every 2-3 weekends and nights and have a proven track record working on rail civil engineering projects.

SSSTS/SMSTS and CSCS tickets are essential, technical qualification desirable.
