About the Company
Our client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, has been awarded a significant project in Cheltenham. The project involves the redevelopment and improvement of Junction 10 on the M5, undertaken on behalf of Gloucestershire County Council.
Role Overview
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the early contractor involvement (ECI) phase of the project. Your responsibilities will include overseeing site setup, minor clearance works, ground investigations, and ecological and archaeological surveys, while coordinating with traffic management teams. You'll manage sub-contractors, document findings, and report to the commercial and HSE teams to ensure smooth project progression.
About You
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the highways sector, particularly on large-scale road projects. Experience with ECI works and site surveys is highly desirable. You must be delivery-driven and available to work on-site five days a week.
Candidates should have a background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors and must hold a valid CSCS card and First Aid as a minimum.
