Job Title: Site Agent – Utilities

Company Overview
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of utility diversion works within a major infrastructure programme.
This is a long-term opportunity for a Site Agent with strong leadership experience across utilities construction and major infrastructure delivery.
The Role
As Site Agent, you will take ownership of site delivery operations for utility diversion works, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and commercial requirements.
You will be responsible for coordinating site teams, managing subcontractors, and supporting engineering, planning, and commercial functions to drive performance across live construction environments.
This role requires a hands-on delivery approach with regular onsite presence across project works.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage site delivery activities for utility diversion works.
• Drive programme performance and support milestone achievement.
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractor teams.
• Monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance across site operations.
• Support commercial and planning teams with progress reporting.
• Assist in commissioning and handover activities where required.
• Maintain strong working relationships with clients and operational teams.
Key Requirements
• Proven experience working as a Site Agent within utilities or major infrastructure construction.
• Experience across utility diversion works, preferably including water, gas, or communications.
• Background working within Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting environments.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, safety management, and programme control.
• Relevant industry certifications including CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
