Senior Site Agent

Locations: Woking

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: From £63,000 - £68,000 + £4,500 Car Allowance + Benefits

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking to lead exciting and essential infrastructure projects? We are seeking Senior Site Agents to join a highly reputable environment-focused delivery team working on a major long-term water framework programme.

You'll be part of a well-established organisation with a multi-billion-pound order book and a strong emphasis on repeat business, collaboration, sustainability, and continuous improvement. This role supports the delivery of wastewater and environmental projects as part of AMP8, running into 2030.

About the Role

As a Senior Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing £5–10M non-infrastructure wastewater projects. Your primary base will be at the Hampton office when not on-site, supporting the team and client relationships. You’ll oversee daily operations, site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain performance to ensure safety, programme delivery, and commercial control.

Key Responsibilities
As Senior Site Agent you’ll manage day-to-day site operations across one or more work packages, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and within budget. The role involves leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules and costs, and supporting procurement. You’ll attend client and stakeholder meetings and help maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards, while supporting the Project Manager with reporting and risk management.

What We’re Looking For
We’re after Senior Site Agents with experience in water, highways, or heavy civils. You’ll need an HNC or higher in Civil Engineering, SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card. You should have experience managing works on site, a solid grasp of NEC contracts, CDM 2015, and temporary works, plus strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is essential; AutoCAD, TWC, and First Aid are desirable.

What’s in It for You
Salary from £68,000 plus a £4,500 car allowance, 28 days’ holiday + 8 bank holidays, pension (4%/5%), and life assurance. We offer structured training and clear routes to progress into Project or Operations Management, all within a supportive, high-performing team.
