Ganymede are delighted to be working with one of the most rapidly expanding Tier 1 Infrastructure Contractors in the UK, who boast a market leading order book in the North West region. With a significant workload projected for the long term, this role offers an opportunity to develop and lead challenging projects with a positive future impact on transport connectivity in the North West.
The Role
Working within a Multi-disciplinary rail infrastructure environment you will be pivotal in the Pre-construction and development of schemes from inception as well as being on hand to provide strong leadership during the Construction phase. You will be the focal point of the team structure ensuring a positive safety culture and a team ethos of excellence!
If you enjoy overseeing a portfolio of schemes with variety, then this role offers just that, leading teams on £2million + projects such as Station works, Access for All, Bridges and Structures.
Reporting into the Regional Director you will be given autonomy over your portfolio of schemes but with the security of a strong support network when required.
Stakeholder engagement will be key to the role, working in partnership with the client, your supply chain and internal stakeholders including commercial, HSQE, Planning, Estimating and procurement.
Where possible, you will also provide technical leadership on your schemes carrying out CRE duties for the Construction phase of the project and working with the Engineering team closely on ‘buildability’ issues.
Overall, you will ensure works are completed on time and within budget to the highest safety standards.
Required Experience
If you are a Senior Site Agent who believes they are ready to make the next step we want to hear from you. Furthermore, if you are already a Project Manager but are seeking a greater variety of workload or a route to progression this could be the step you require.
Ideally you will carry a technical qualification in an Engineering discipline (a minimum of a HNC), coupled with experience on rail Infrastructure (civils) schemes.
