The Opportunity

My client is one of the Delivery Integration Partners (DIP) on the Regional Delivery Partnership Framework (RDP) with Highways England and have been awarded multiple schemes along the A47 running from Peterborough to Norfolk with a combined construction value in excess of £250m. The framework will see them firmly invest in the region through to 2025 and beyond, so we are looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to assist us in the Detailed Design/ECI phase on these schemes and then moving from detailed design into construction from late 2022. The projects range from construction of new dual carriageways, roundabouts, junction improvements and interchanges with a series of structures all delivered in partnership with Highways England and SWECO

What is expected of me as Senior Project Manager?

Plan, prepare and facilitate collaborative workshops as and when required

Interview, select and onboard staff in line with the resource profile for the Scheme;

With the support of the Commercial Team ensure the selection and timely appointment of the best Supply Chain partners

Ensure all pre-commencement and regulatory requirements are discharged prior to work commencing.

Plan and prepare for delivery of the Scheme throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure a Temporary Works Coordinator is appointed and ensure all Temporary Works requirements are understood and designed in a timely manner.

Lead the project team in stakeholder communication and management

Lead the project team in delivering our commitments, including community engagement, Employment & Skills, Innovations and through working groups.

Engage with sector leadership to promote the project and company including through external awards, professional lectures, trade press articles and site visits.

Ensure the project teams are provided with adequate resource and training to enable compliance with company procedures and current legislation

Ensure close relationships are developed and maintained with key suppliers

Package:

For this position, the company is offering a basic salary £75,000 + per annum dependant on experience, the choice of a company car or car allowance, 28 days holiday + bank holidays with two optional charity days and the option to buy more holidays, pension contributions,
