Role: Senior Estimator

Company: This company have grown into one of the largest and most successful privately owned construction and development groups in the UK. Over the past five years, they have secured projects with a value of almost £3 billion and over 60% of these were for returning clients. Their construction teams undertake work in the following key sectors, Accommodation, Commercial, Distribution, Education, Health, Industrial, Leisure, Mixed-Use, Retail and Sport. They offer their clients, in both the private and public sector, a national service delivered locally through their specialist regional teams.
Role Description: Operating out of the Southern offices full-time, the Senior Estimator will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director and the Operations Director and will be responsible for running the bid process with occasional work winning responsibilities. After these tenders have been put together, you will also play a key part is assembling the team that will deliver the scheme. Whilst the Senior Estimator will be somewhat involved in the educational frameworks, your work will predominately be operating in the commercial building sector on projects ranging in value from £15million to £45million, contributing to the Southern Region’s current annual turnover of £150million.
Required Experience: In order to be considered for this role you will need to have experience operating as an Estimator with main contractors in the construction sector on commercial building and/or office space projects valued above £15million.
Remuneration: On offer is a competitive salary of up to £70,000 depending on experience, company car or car allowance, 25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, 6% matched pension contribution + additional benefits alongside an opportunity to run your own region.
