On behalf of our client, we are looking for a PTS Electrical Supervisor to join their busy Rail E&P team. This is a full time, permanent position and you will be employed directly by the company

The Company

Market leader in technology and connectivity integration - it’s Rail E&P division being tier-one Principal Contractor, delivering end-to-end design and build signalling, power and communications solutions across the UK Rail infrastructure

The Role

As a PTS Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management of employees on site, ensuring productivity and quality of installation of assets on a wide range of rail projects. You will undertake installation, testing and safety activities as required. Maintaining records, carrying out site inspections and providing incident and close call reports, you will be responsible for the safety of employees, clients and members of the public who come into contact with site operations.

As the sites are nationwide, the applicants must be willing to travel and will be expected to arrive to their place of work early Monday morning and not be expecting to return to their place of residents until Friday afternoon.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • 18th edition / Electrical Qualification
  • Relevant trade/construction experience
  • Driving licence
  • Project safety management experience
  • Working knowledge of safety, quality and environmental procedures
  • Demonstrable knowledge of electrical installation and testing procedures
  • Strong understanding of the types of permits and materials required for relevant tasks
  • Ability to identify, raise and communicate potential design changes, providing alternatives where needed

Desirable:

  • COSS/SWL certificate, SSSTS qualification, Health and safety in a construction environment, CDM regulations training

The Salary

£38,000 - £42,000 per annum including statutory employment benefits, van, fuel card / travel and fuel expenses, 25 days holidays, laptop, phone
