This managerial role will enable you to take the lead on a Rail Project with a value of over £4M for a huge contractor! Based in a rail division with a turnover in excess of £150 million, you will take lead managing rail projects within the Eastern region of the UK. The first project being a Rail Station refurbishment to become more accessible to all. This includes Step Free Access / Access for All, implementing Lift Shafts, Ramps and other cosmetics.
As this role will be covering a region, you’ll also be responsible for the daily management of various rail and civil engineering projects within the portfolio of works dedicated to schemes within the Eastern region of the LNE route. You will be responsible for leading successful contract delivery, by ensuring that the site teams are fully appraised of the contract parameters and have the capability and resources necessary to achieve contract objectives. Projects tend to be Platform Extensions, Station Redevelopments, Level Crossings and Flood Alleviation.
Established as a key supplier to Network Rail amongst others, you will be joining an award-winning provider of engineering services into the rail, highways, waterways, and utilities sectors. Remuneration and benefits
An impressive package is available consisting of a basic salary of up to £65,000, plus company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible working, Private Medical Insurance, Pension, Life insurance, support and funding of chartership.
