Project Manager – Asset Maintenance and Enhancements

The Role 

As client Project Manager, you will be working within Train Operating Company contracts to represent their interests in the delivery of infrastructure and asset enhancement projects. This will incorporate varied work ranging from lighting projects, Customer Information System upgrades, station enhancements and builds etc. 

These projects will include cradle to grave works, across all GRIP stages, offering a great deal of variety including feasibility, design, delivery and commissioning. You will be working with multiple project stakeholders, to ensure programmes are completed on time and to budget, including suppliers, local authorities, Network Rail, DfT. This is a position that will demand the very best of your project management, engineering and commercial capabilities to achieve project deliverables safely.

Remuneration

About You 

This role will suit a Project Management professional familiar with delivery of asset improvement / enhancements of station facilities and infrastructure looking for a Project Management role that will see them involved through the whole project lifecycle. The role requires a deep understanding of railway safety requirements within works delivery and experience of the GRIP process and commercial considerations of NEC contracts. 

Association for Project Management membership is desired, as is a formal qualification at HNC level or above in an associated civil / electrical / mechanical / construction discipline. 

The role requires you to be mobile for projects and will involve both office and site visits. You must be prepared to offer energy and flexibility to ensure projects are delivered!
