The Role
As the Project Manager you’ll be responsible for the delivery of the rail package of work within this £70Million project. Being solely responsible for the rail package, you’ll be managing the interface of Pway, OLE, Signalling, E&P with Civils.
You’ll manage sub-contractors ensuring works are carried out in accordance with the programmes and in cohesion with the overall project programme. You’ll liaise with the Principle Design Partner to ensure buildability issues are solved and Designs are submitted on time ready for Construction.
And of course, you will also ensure the highest standard of Safety and Quality on their section of the works.

Remuneration
Basic salary is subject to experience up to £60,000 per annum, and is accompanied with a car / car allowance to reflect the travel required within the role. Support is also provided to achieve and maintain professional memberships / status.
About You
This is a role suitable for an experience Rail Civils professional looking for a broader and more diverse range of railway infrastructure projects. You do not need to be an experience in all the disciplines, but have an appreciation of them. You must have prior experience in this sector and be familiar with the complexities and requirements for effective site management, delivering projects in an operational railway environment
The position can be based in either Middlesbrough or York, with travel between the locations, but also the opportunity to work from home.
You will hold (or have held) a PTS and CSCS Safety Management Competency.
Ideally you will hold a HNC or above
Experience within a Tier 1 contractor as a Site Agent or Project Manager on Network Rail or Metro projects within Rail systems.
