Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in water or civil engineering projects? We are seeking a Project Manager to support the successful delivery of essential water infrastructure upgrades and compliance-driven asset improvement works across a long-term regulated framework.

You’ll join a technical delivery team responsible for ensuring critical assets within a live operational environment remain resilient, compliant, and fit for purpose. This role is centred on engineering-led planning, programme control, and stakeholder coordination across multiple water sites.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of water and infrastructure upgrade schemes from early scoping through to commissioning. Typical works include:

  • Civil engineering and MEICA-related upgrades
  • Site access and asset protection improvements
  • Installation of kiosks, security systems, and associated infrastructure
  • Minor civils, compound layouts, and resilience enhancements

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading project delivery across all phases, ensuring alignment with engineering, operational, and regulatory requirements
  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams including designers, site managers, planners, and MEICA specialists
  • Producing detailed programmes, forecasts, and project controls documentation
  • Monitoring cost, schedule, risk, and change, ensuring robust reporting
  • Coordinating with client operational teams to minimise site disruption
  • Upholding governance, CDM compliance, quality standards, and H&S procedures
  • Preparing and presenting progress reviews to senior stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a Project Manager with proven experience in water, wastewater, utilities, or civil engineering environments—preferably across regulated or framework programmes.

Essential:

  • Strong project delivery background within water, utilities, or infrastructure
  • Solid understanding of civil and/or MEICA works
  • Excellent commercial and programme management skills
  • Experience managing multiple live sites and operational constraints
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
