This Principal Contractor to the Rail Sector continues to grow and expand as they become the trusted and go to contractor for clients such as Network Rail. As a trusted partner they partner their clients on wide variety of Rail projects. The Role

Supporting Network Rail on a wide variety of Rail projects, you will be working alongside a highly experienced rail team. Your role will be to coordinate and manage line blocks/possessions, principally within NR’s Southern Region, and the planning and creation of Safe System of Work plans, in line with internal and external standards.  In doing so, you will utilise your strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with our Project Managers and the external client to deliver a highly organised and exceptional service. You will be confident to challenge issues and take a ‘one-team’ attitude in their resolution.

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic salary is up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience, Company Vehicle, 40 hour week working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, with weekend overtime available, company pension scheme. 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

About You

Being an experienced SSOW / Possessions Planner, you will hold a PTS and have SSOW competencies and a firm understanding of Network Rail’s (NR) standards.  You will also be adept in Network Rail’s Possession Planning System (PPS) with strong experience of MS Excel and Railhub.
