The Role
Supporting Network Rail on a wide variety of Rail projects, you will be working alongside a team of On Track Plant, where you will help to deliver safe plant operations for a wide range of maintenance and enhancement projects.
You will help to deliver safe plant operations for a wide range of maintenance and enhancement projects along the railway. Taking responsibility for the onsite management of OTP operations, you’ll act as the point of contact to ensure that all works are delivered safely and efficiently on time and to budget.
Prior to works, you’ll take responsibility for the preparation and issue of POS packs, lift plans and documents in line with the company’s POS procedures and rail regulations.
Remuneration & Benefits
Basic salary is up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience, Company Vehicle, 40 hour week working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, with weekend overtime available, company pension scheme. 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
About You
You will have a good understanding of the POS Safe Works planning process and will have a solid understanding of the standards and regulations required to ensure the safe operation on Plant on track. You’ll hold PTS, COSS and Crane Controller qualifications and may have prior experience of acting as a POS rep in a similar company. You’ll have an understanding of the lift planning process and may hold a Lift Planner certificate.
