The Role

The variety in this role is endless! Every day will be different presenting new challenges and obstacles to work around. You will be mainly in the office liaising with all departments in the business involved in procurement, commercials, logistics (booking in and out) and quality assurance. You will be reporting into the Operations Manager ensuring that all departments are operating to schedule and multi-tasking is crucial to this role to keep all jobs running with the plant required on site. Some flexibility in home working may come later in the role once you have got to grips with the requirements of the role.

As Plant Co-Ordinator / Manager administration, organisation, and communication will be key factors to success in this role. You will need to multitask with multiple teams and departments to ensure that plant is booked in and out of the headquarters, so it is kept track of and that there is enough plant to complete all the live jobs. Any shortage must be reported the operations manager so adjustments can be made.

One of the UK’s largest contractors in infrastructure is rapidly expanding into the rail sector. They are a multinational company with ambitions to double turn over every 5 years which they have more than exceeded so far. They have international presence and are listed on the stock exchange.

Renumeration:

Basic salary is subject to experience and is accompanied with generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays. They will also provide support training and development and offer full support in candidates to learn to role.

The salary will depend on your level of experience, background you have come from and level of seniority that you enter the vacancy at.

About you:


A Plant Co-Ordinator / Manager who can demonstrate capability in liaising with other teams, being organised and having ability to use your initiative when faced with problems that may occur.
