We’re seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Night Shift Train Cleaners to join our expert Train Presentation team at Blackpool Depot. The Candidate:
Are you hard-working, reliable, and passionate about creating clean, comfortable environments? If you’ve got experience in cleaning for transportation, industrial sites, or housekeeping, we want to hear from you! Bring your attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards in local train depots.
The Role:
Are you up for a challenge? As a Night Shift Train Cleaner, you’ll play a key role in keeping our trains spotless and presentable for public use. Your duties will include:
- Deep and full cleans focused on interior train cleaning
- Hoovering, mopping, and sanitizing touchpoints
- Bleaching and de-tanking toilets
- Ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard
This is a physically active role, keeping you on your feet and directly contributing to a pleasant travel experience for passengers.
Requirements:
Here’s what you need to succeed:
- Experience in vehicle, industrial, or housekeeping cleaning
- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends, on a rotating schedule:
- 4 on, 4 off, followed by 5 on, 5 off
- Shift hours: 20:00pm–05:00am and 22:00pm–05:00am
- Full flexibility to cover both shifts as needed
- Ability to work as part of a team of 8, with 2 duty team leaders
- Willingness to complete the following as part of the interview and onboarding process:
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Comprehensive medical examination
- Drug and alcohol testing

Rate of Pay:
- £13.05 per hour for every hour worked
- Overtime opportunities available at management’s discretion
