About the Role
5 Managing Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers are required to work on my clients HS2 work packages out of their offices in Birmingham. These are new positions as HS2 are in the process of setting up the teams. They are currently going through major changes; these Managing Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Managers would be in charge of all of these changes. Potential to go perm after 6 months, depending on the workers performance & the need for them on the project.
The Ideal Candidate
- Prior experience as Managing Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager
- Excellent NEC contract knowledge
- Experience writing change control papers
- Contractually savvy
- Significant experience working on civil engineering/infrastructure projects
- Degree Qualified/Chartered (Desirable)
- Local to Birmingham
Remuneration
The successful Managing Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager will be paid a day rate of up to £500. The role is inside IR35 and therefore you will need to engage via umbrella company for this specific position.
