We have a fantastic and exciting new opportunity for an experienced Lead Estimator with outstanding bidding experience.
The Candidate:
Are you a skilled Lead Estimator with experience working on social housing and local government projects? That’s great, please read on to find out more about a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading businesses as they continue to grow into the construction industry in public and private sectors. You will be a Lead Estimator with plenty of experience completing comprehensive bidding and pricing of new projects.
The Role:
Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the role! Your main responsibilities as Lead Estimator will be to prepare budgets and tenders to bid for new projects. You will also be required to liaise extensively with supply chain and stakeholders. As Lead Estimator, you will report to the Commercial Director, and highlight major commercial issues.
Requirements:
To be considered for the Lead Estimator role, you will be able to demonstrate experience winning bids, estimating projects up to £20million and have sound knowledge of Building Regulations. You will also possess an HNC/HND in Construction (or equivalent) as well as solid understanding of BIM. You will be a great team player, a clear and professional communicator, have a positive attitude with a willingness to take on new challenges.
