The Candidate:

If you are a highly experienced FPGA Engineer with a strong background in VHDL – you are in the right place. Our client is seeking a dynamic person to join an important project within Cyber Security technology. You will be passionate and knowledgeable in field-programmable gate array development. You will be highly competent in hardware description language, specifically VHDL. You will be highly experienced in delivering projects with multiple Work Packages and be well versed in Defence and Space or ESA Standards.

The Role:

The successful FPGA Engineer will be responsible for completing design from concept to delivery. You will provide technical guidance to colleagues and liaise with internal and external partners. You will conduct extensive fault finding and testing to ensure optimum performance. You will use specialist tools to develop the FPGA and will identify shortfalls with a keen eye to provide high quality solutions to complex problems.

Requirements:

The successful FPGA Engineer will be an expert in VHDL and field-programmable gate arrays. You will have experience of devices from major suppliers and manufacturers within the industry. You must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You will also possess strong and proven teamwork and leadership attributes. You will have an awareness of technical disciplines, good planning skills and impeccable time management. Due to the nature of this role, security clearance will be required.

Rate of pay: up to £400 per day
