Job Title: Forklift Driver

Ganymede are supporting our clients nationwide with efforts to #KeepBritainMoving during these unprecedented times, with an urgent requirements for experienced Forklift Driver to contribute to a number of critical rolling stock refurbishment projects in order to provide safe and reliable transport to key workers up and down the country.

The Candidate
Are you smart, savvy and organised? Do you enjoy being in a position of trust and being a key member of a high-performance team? As a Forklift Driver, you will have experience of picking, loading and unloading, organising large orders, monitoring order sheets and working at a fast pace. You will also possess a counterbalance forklift licence.
The Role
Up for a challenge? Great, lets tell you about the Forklift Driver role! Your key responsibility will be to support engineers by organising stock, processing orders, and retrieving crucial goods and components for manufacturing. You will need a keen eye for detail and must be able to work within set timelines as this is an important supportive function. You will be a qualified forklift driver.
The Requirements
To be a successful Forklift Driver, you will possess valuable experience of working in a warehouse, depot, or stores environment. You will have a valid forklift licence and have significant experience as a driver. This role will be physically demanding and will require heavy lifting. As this role will be working in a Safety Critical environment, you will be required to pass a medical / drug and alcohol screening.
Working Hours
Mon-Fri
40 hours per week (overtime available)
