Fleet Manager (Diesel)

Up to £60,000 per annum plus £6,000 car allowance
Are you an experienced Rolling Stock Engineer, with experience within Diesel Engineering? Looking to move your career into a customer focused role, ensuring fleet reliability and performance are at the optimal levels?
The Role
You’ll be managing the maintenance and performance of Diesel Engines that are supplied to customers across the UK. Working closely with Rolling Stock OEM’s to ensure contractual agreements are met, and that the engines performance are running to their finest levels for reliability. You will be responsible for fleet compliance, customer relations, revenue, warranty, fleet modifications and KPI’s. Providing day to day management of a team of two Supervisors and ten field-based Product Support Engineers, delivering services ranging from warranty only, to full fleet support (maintenance, repair, and overhaul)

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You'll be an effective communicator, to coordinate the maintenance of high value systems with depot supervisors and by field-based service engineers. Being from a rolling stock background, and qualified within an engineering discipline, will give you the understanding of workloads and manage customer expectations. You'll also be able to advise on Warranty issues with the field service engineers and customers.
This role will be working from home four days a week, and one day on site, Monday to Friday.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Engineering related discipline.
- Rolling Stock – Diesel knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. On the job training will be provided for SAP
THE SALARY
- Salary is up to £60,000 per annum plus car allowance of £6,000 per annum
- Company pay 9% into your pension with no minimum from the employee
- AXA Private Medical Healthcare for entire immediate family and dependants up to 25 years old
