You will be joining an organisation synonymous with engineering excellence, developing leading power generation technology solutions for customers in the marine, construction, agricultural, rail and defence sectors (amongst others). A genuine leader in their field, this company provides comprehensive training for the engineers, to reflect the developing and emerging technology in its product range. Customer relationships are key, hence the Fleet Manager we are looking for will have a clear track record of delivering added value services in client facing roles.
The Ideal Candidate:
You will be an experienced Manager within the Rolling Stock environment, with a background of working with high profile customer that is resilent to the demands of complex contracts. You'll work closely with the UK based teams, as well as teams in Europe, to ensure the customer receives the service they require from such a prestigous organisation. You'll also be managing maintenance teams within the UK, with Supervisors reporting directly to you.
About the Role:
This role is to manage a busy depot, organising workloads, and providing reports on fleet maintenance, repair and service of Engines. You’ll be tasked with creating and rolling out of all internal KPI reports on a weekly basis and providing information to customers and project stakeholders. You will build close relationships with the customers to enable to availability of fleets, to ensure engine maintenance is carried out in accordance to the engine health schedules. You’ll also integrate preventative with reactive maintenance, by working closely with Data Analysts to minimise engine downtime for customers.
