£48,000 plus package
Do you have previous experience as a project manager or agent?
A main contractor who’s renowned for significant investment into their employees, are looking for the above to join their business and work on a portfolio of live projects and long -term renewals and frameworks, this will mainly be on substation projects in the energy sector. This scope of the works can typically include a wide range of civil engineering works and structures, including, highways, earthworks, drainage reinforced concrete and much more. They are currently working on the Seagreen offshore Wind Farm Project.
Day to day responsibilities would include
Delivery of the sub-contract within programme and budget.
Management of Safety on site form the sub-contractor.
Liaison with sub-contractor staff and site Manager to ensure successful completion of civil scope of works.
The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
Ensuring that changes to the contract are identified, agreed and effectively managed (working in conjunction with project manager and project QS).
The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Project Manager.
Management of Civil work Quality, and collation of required QA documentation
About you:
It is essential that you’re an established Project Manager / Site Agent who has a significant portfolio of multi-disciplined projects.
- Previous experience in a civil management role such as Site Agent, Sub Agent, Civil Project Manager, Project Engineer. Successful applicant will have experience of leading teams on site in previous roles and delivering civil construction projects.
- Degree / HNC or HND in civil engineering (or equivalent compensating experience in a technical engineering role
