Electrical Design Engineer

A leading supplier of industrial systems is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team in servicing clients needs across the rail sector. You’ll be reworking designs for control pumping systems for the implementation of systems onto existing sites across the UK.
The Opportunity
Working on a range of different projects across the UK, working within the rail sector to provide maintenance depots with pumping control systems. Working closely to understand customer requirements, you will remodel current designs to fit with the customers requirements and manage the commissioning through to handover. You will also write the O&M Manuals to enable technicians to understand how the systems work.
Package
The position is paying a salary of circa £35,000 per annum, you have the ability to use the company pool car when required, as well as join the company pension scheme, and bonus scheme.
About You
You’ll be experienced in the design of panel layouts using E-plan 8 or SEE Electrical design software, Design/programme of ladder logic/ PLC controllers and HMI screens. Be educated to a minimum of a HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / An approved C&G / NVQ 3 apprenticeship.
