Summary
One of our main Tier one construction clients has won a significant framework in Telecoms and are looking to add an experienced Telecoms Design Engineer / Design Manager to their established team. They have an appetite to grow and expand the department with this position being a key hire that will be instrumental in delivering their healthy pipeline of work.
The Role
The role will involve the design process for telecoms and to manage external consultants and co-ordinators. You will need to forecast future workloads and meet all technical requirements through the coordination of design staff levels.
You will need to ensure that all the business systems are maintained, adhered to, and implemented.
Ensure a “Right First-Time approach” with and designs submitted by the supply chain and review them where necessary.
Establish a relationship within the business as well as with relevant stakeholders to ensure everyone is up to speed on various projects they are running.
HS&E policies and legislation must be adhered to.
Where possible; improve the companies’ relationship, future portfolio, and that the company compliance to is adhered to.

Our Client is one of the UK’s main, full solution construction businesses that employees thousands of people nationwide. They operate in multiple sectors including Energy, Construction, and Infrastructure.
The Telecoms branch is leading the charge on Infrastructure building for mobile and fixed line Telecoms. They are looking to grow this arm of the business rapidly through innovation and exceeding client requirements and expectations. They have an excellent pipeline of future bids and tenders as well as projects already they have already won and there is no sign of this slowing down!
Renumeration and benefits
£55K per annum with company car or allowance.
Pension of 5% which increases to 8% after 5 years of age.
The opportunity for flexible working
28 days holiday (plus 8 bank holiday) with option to buy 3.
Working week: Monday - Friday
About you:
Are you a Design Engineer looking for a challenging role in an emerging sector that is constantly having investment from central Government?
