COVID-19 Marshall
As a Ganymede COVID -19 Marshall you are required to assist and support our clients on their worksites in managing the measures put in place to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. You will work closely to the Clients Person in Charge on site who will brief you on the duties you will need to carry out on site.
The duties will include but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Social Distancing – You will ensure the 2-metre social distancing guidelines are adhered to at all times when on site, at the access points, at briefings and signing in points.
Correct PPE - Where a 2-metre distance can’t be maintained, you will ensure all staff have the correct PPE for the task to be carried out and to the client requirements.
Welfare Facilities – You will ensure social distancing maintained is maintained and work surfaces will be regularly cleaned disinfected including contact points such as door handles. Assist with any COVID-19 Site Signage
Hygiene – Ensure hand washing facilities are available and persons are washing their hands at the start and end of the shifts and at regular intervals at break times.
Transport Checks - Vehicle occupancy will be regularly checked and marshalled in line with client requirements and Government guidance.
Non-Technical Skills
You must possess good communication skills and be able to carry out one to one conversation to give instructions and advice on site COVID-19 requirements. Be prepared to challenge but remain amicable and avoid confrontation in the event of a person not carrying out any COVID-19 instructions.
Be able to hold a conversation clearly using the English language and must be literate and able to complete any client reports required.
You must have a good understanding of the Government and NHS requirements re COVID-19.
