This Principal Contractor to the Rail Sector continues to grow and expand as they become the trusted and go to contractor for clients such as Network Rail. As a trusted partner they partner their clients on wide variety of Rail projects. The Role

You will be joining a growing organisation that will help you propel your career further. As the Commercial Manager, your experience in contract preparation, management and negotiation will be essential as you will play an integral role in all client contracts at pre- and post-contract design, in order to effectively establish and support our Rail projects. This will also incorporate preparing commercial responses to PQQ’s, tenders, etc.

‍As Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the robust financial and resource management of multiple contracts for this rail organisation, ensuring compliance with commercial and financial governance.

Remuneration & Benefits

Basic salary is up to £80,000 per annum depending on experience, Company Vehicle, 40 hour week working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, company pension scheme. 20 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

About You

Being an experienced Commercial professional in the Rail sector, it is preferred if you hold a Degree in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying (or similar) or equivalent experience.

• Substantial experience within Rail/Construction sector and excellent industry knowledge.

• Experience and knowledge of relevant legislation.

• Membership of RICS, CICES or CIOB (desirable).
