Job Title: Project Administrator – Major Highways Upgrade
Location: Honingham, Norwich
Contract: 3–6 months initially, with potential to extend for 12+ months
Hours: 42.5 per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm (1 hour lunch, some flexibility)
Rate: £16.50 per hour PAYE

We are recruiting for a Project Administrator to join the commercial team of a leading infrastructure contractor, working on a major highways upgrade. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and organisational skills who enjoys working in a busy project environment.

The initial focus will be on preparing documentation and supporting compliance activities ahead of an upcoming audit. Following this, there is strong potential for the role to continue for the duration of the project, which is expected to run for a further 12+ months.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the commercial team
• Collate, organise and maintain accurate records and project documentation
• Assist with compliance tasks and audit preparation
• Update and manage spreadsheets, reports and document logs
• Handle email and telephone enquiries professionally, directing where necessary
• Support with data entry, document control and reporting
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure audit trails are accurate

Skills and Experience Required
• Proven experience in administration, ideally within construction, engineering, housing or other compliance-driven environments
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience working in temporary or contract roles with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with document control, compliance or audit support would be an advantage
