AMCO Case Study

By Ganymede

Ganymede were awarded a nationwide framework agreement for AMCO in April 2012, and were given a 7 day turnaround to become sole supplier for the safety critical resources for the LNE and East Midlands regions. In addition to this Ganymede had to procure key personnel who were identified by the AMCO senior management.

The Solution:

Ganymede have proved they have the skilled resources and management structure to find the necessary personnel required and work diligently alongside AMCO and our various other clients to ensure all objectives are met and no contract suffers as a result of peak requirements.

Key Facts:

  • Major projects have included the Hatfield Landslide, Hexham station refurbishment, Adwick le Street refurbishment, Claycross tunnel repairs, Skipton station refurbishment and Whitwell tunnel surveys.

  • There is a continual variation in the resource requirements and this could range from 20 – 160 safety critical operatives of various disciplines weekly (Average 50-60).

The Result:

As a result of our success the business expanded fourfold in just over a year. Subsequently, the partnership is continually developing and we have now branched into the Western region namely the Southwest.
