Site Supervisor – Steelwork

The Company
A privately owned, primary contractor is currently looking for a Site Supervisor to join their team based in Avon. Currently with a projected increase to their rail division and its turnover, with client and project focused. With their core market working on projects and frameworks which include structural engineering, preparation, and coatings along with Civil Engineering and scaffolding have an exciting future ahead.
The Role
As Site Supervisor you will be supporting the Engineering manager to deliver a number of steel works installation projects from prestart to completion.
As Site Supervisor you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Delivery to contract specification
- Following company processes and procedures
- Ensuring Health, Safety, Quality, and environment standards
- Preparing and delivery of strategy
- Working closely with management to ensure time scales
- Ensuring operations are carried out in accordance with RAMS, effective information communication, and all staff on site are managed and trained correctly
- Reporting of all on site accident, Health and Safety Issues, Changes in project, any delays, attendance, and all other reporting required in line with the project
The Ideal Candidate
It is essential the right candidate has:
- Minimum of HND within Construction Site Management, Building and Civil Engineering
- Experience working within Rail, Construction or Highways site environment
- Up to date knowledge of current industry standards
- SMSTS
- IOSH
- CSCS (Manager)
- Full Driving License
