The Role and Responsibilities
As Site Agent you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the delivery of the project/projects. You be responsible for rigorously applying planning techniques to ensure the continuous use of resources and sub-contractors. Building and maintaining client relationships, working with the commercial teams and managing the weekly programme.
The Company
Our client, a large Tier 1 contractor, have secured work on the Minor Works Framework with National Highways. They will be responsible for over 30 schemes covering highways and public realm improvements, drainage, routine bridge and culvert maintenance, and soft and hard landscaping.
The Requirements
The ideal Site Agent for this position will have experience working within the highways sector on roads and public realm projects for National Highways, but this is not essential as someone with a background in any highways, roads or infrastructure experience with a good understanding of earthworks, retaining walls and civil engineering will also be considered! It is essential you are delivery focused and able to be based on site 5 days a week.
We do require someone that has worked for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractors, and you must have a valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid as a minimum. If you are confined space trained/have temporary works certs then this would be advantageous.
