This is an opportunity for an established Site Agent or a Senior Site agent from the rail industry to join works in a thriving region, turning over £150 million in this principal contractors’ rail division alone.

Established as a key supplier to Network Rail amongst others, you will be joining an award-winning provider of engineering services into the rail, highways, waterways, and utilities sectors. Recognised as being helpful, professional, and innovative contractors, as part of this team you will be expected to lead continuous improvement initiatives that will increase engagement and profile with key customers that optimise works delivery.

The Opportunity:

This role will see you taking full responsibility for the daily management, cost, planning and delivery across various projects on the Asset Management Framework throughout the Yorkshire region. Working at a fast pace, you will be managing various sites across the Framework in addition to a team of Supervisors and Site Managers.

The works will generally consist of vegetation, grit blasting and painting, structural repairs (bridges and track), canopy repairs, station works, signal box repairs, and emergency call out works. You will also see yourself involved in works on other frameworks in the region.

You will resume all responsibility for site paperwork such as WPP’s, Method Statements, Tasks Briefs and ITP’s etc. As Senior Site Agent, you will be a leading example to employees and will help mentor and fund any professional memberships and training for everyday site tickets such as PTS.

Package:

The company are offering a generous package of £55,000 - £57,000 basic per annum, company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and 5% matched pension.

About you:

For this position it is essential that you’re experienced in a main contractor environment on rail projects (ideally of lower value). This position is ideal for an established Senior Site Agent, or it can be a great opportunity for a Site agent to take the next step up in their career ladder. This is a fast-paced position working on low value projects at a high turnover, this means you will naturally be comfortable in a busy environment
