The Company
This well-established organisation that provide a 24 hours service of security to organisations throughout London, working with high profile household names. The services they provide include Locksmiths, Burglar Alarms, Access control, CCTV Glazing, Fire Alarms, Grilles & Gates, Carpentry Security, Security Shutters and Automatic Gates.
The role
As a Gate Engineer, you will be carrying out emergency and scheduled work within London and surrounding areas, ensuring commercial customers have the ability to gain access to properties and have the knowledge that their needs are managed by yourself. Within this role as a Gate Engineer you’ll be working a standard 48hrs per week on a 4day on 4day off rota + overtime as required.
About you
You’ll be an experienced Gate Engineer, with experience in carrying out PPM’s and repairs to Automatic Vehicle Gates, Barriers and Automatic Doors. You will have extensive electro – mechanical experience and knowledge. Respond to reactive repairs and breakdowns within set response times and work towards company KPI's. Strive to First Time Fix on all reactive jobs as well as working to a high standard to maintain customer satisfaction.
You must hold a Clean driving license and it’ll be beneficial if you hold DHF or Gate Safe qualification, or hold a EN16005 Certificate, although training will be provided.
This role will require you to pass a DBS check
The Benefits
Salary up to £40k, Competitive hourly rate + on call bonus, Van, Mobile, Equipment and uniform provided. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays – on completion of 1 years continuous service you will accrue 1 day per year to maximum of 5 days totalling 25 days.
