The Role and Responsibilities
Design management
Management of design houses
Review of designs to establish suitability and build ability
Liaison with the client
Interface management
Commercial management/control of design works
Management of progress and programme
The Company
The successful candidate will be joining a large main civil engineering contractor who operates in multiple sectors nationwide. The organisation has an excellent reputation in the rail civil engineering sector.
The Requirements
Chartered Civil Engineer (ideally)
HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
Design Management experience on Rail Civil Engineering projects in the UK.
Main Contractor background
Experience of managing or working with design consultancies
